NBC topped Wednesday night's coveted 18-49 demographic, while CBS won the evening with total viewers. The peacock network's The Voice suffered a drop from its usual Tuesday evening slot, after it was switched to Wednesday due to the Presidential Election results. The singing competition fell from an 18-49 demo rating of 4.6 to 3.8 and 10.47 million viewers at 8pm. The Voice helped give NBC its first in-season Wednesday win in the 18-49 demo with a non-sports schedule since Christmas Eve 2008. The switch also helped give Chicago Fire a 25% increase to 2.2 and 7.03 million viewers at 10pm. Fox's X Factor slipped a tenth from last week to 2.6 (7.03m) at 8pm.
