Cinedigm Entertainment Group has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the comedy/drama Arthur Newman and plans a theatrical release in mid-2013, according to an announcement Friday. The movie, which stars Colin Firth and Emily Blunt, is the story of the mid-life crisis of a man (Firth) who hates his job while his ex-wife and son hate him. He stages his own death and then takes on a new identity as Arthur Newman.
