The good news is that 20th Century Fox is feeling they can complete a Peanuts movie faster than expected and will be bringing it to theaters as quickly as possible. The bad news is that it's being moved to a weekend where there already exists another high-profile, highly-anticipated film. Box Office Mojo says that the studio has adjusted their release schedule a bit and have moved the untitled Peanuts movie from November 25, 2015 to November 6, 2015. Part of the reason this is such a strange choice is because the movie will now be squaring off directly against Edgar Wright's Ant-Man, the Marvel Studios film that will be immediately following The Avengers 2. If the second Avengers movie is as big a hit as the first was, it could mean very good things for Wright's movie, but also really bad things for Peanuts.
