Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Afterlife has yet to reach theaters, but the writer/director is already at work on another movie. This time, Anderson is adapting Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers, meaning that despite Anderson continuing to shoot in 3-D, he will switch from a post-apocalyptic zombie landscape to 17th Century France.

Anderson admitted earlier this month that making another Musketeers isn't the change of pace that many people would expect for the director of Death Race. The latest set photos from ComingSoon reveal a comfortable Anderson amongst the Bamburg, Germany location. Also pictured are Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief) in costume as D'Artagnan, and Mads Mikkelssen (Clash of the Titans) as the villain Rochefort, both with eyepatch and without.

The Three Musketeers opens April 15, 2011, and also stars Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfadyen, Milla Jovovich and Christoph Waltz.
