It was only a matter of time before Zack Snyder's Man of Steel got the 3D treatment. This afternoon, Warner Bros. announced that the upcoming 2013 summer tentpole will indeed be presented in "3D in select theaters." The film had already locked in regular 2D and IMAX formats, but with the lucrative 3D market (especially in international markets), a conversion into 3D was simply a matter of when and not if.
