It looks like Warner Bros. wants to see as much green from "Man Of Steel" as they can. This summer, the cat was let out of the bag very early by an accidental post on the official IMAX page, but now it has been confirmed: Zack Snyder's Superman movie is getting spit-shined for a 3D and IMAX release (while also coming in regular 2D, of course). We can't really say it's all that surprising. While Christopher Nolan had an iron grip control over pretty much every aspect of his Batman movies, even with producer status here, it's the studio who are going to make the ultimate call on its presentation. If they want 3D, they're going to get 3D. Just ask Guillermo Del Toro (though he later clarified, WB gave him extra budget to make sure the conversion on "Pacific Rim" was done right). But hey, it's America, right? »
