The exorcism/possession sub-genre of horror has been a very effective way to scare the shit out of audiences ever since young Linda Blair brought a nightmare to life 35 years ago. Now the short film Eviction brings us its own take on the subject of demonic possession.

Eviction premiered recently at Toronto After Dark, and we have the nine-minute short in its entirety below.

The film was written/directed by Justin McConnell (The Eternal, The Collapsed), was co-produced by the late Kevin Hutchinson (who also did the F/X work), and stars Robert Nolan (Familiar, Worm, Sick).

Synopsis:

A message of warning. And welcome. A herald of my arrival. Transfer of my energy. Welcome to my world. I am all things, and nothing. I am Nameless.
