Howie Mandel knows NBC's got "America's Got Talent" again next year, but he doesn't know yet if it's got him for it.

And not by his own choice, the comedian maintains. "They haven't told me yet," he tells Zap2it. "I would love to be there, and I will be there if they ask me."

Of the other most recent "Talent" judges, Sharon Osbourne has left the program, and Howard Stern's future with the competition also is yet uncertain.

"If it was up to me, yes, I'd return," Mandel says, "but it's not up to me. It's up to NBC, so we'll see what they do. I had a great time this past year. I love Howard and Sharon, and I know them beyond show business. It was great to sit on the panel with two friends, but that is show business: You never know what you're going to do tomorrow. »
