It's been a while since we've had an update on Universal Pictures' R.I.P.D., which is based on the Dark Horse comic book Rest In Peace Department and wrapped production earlier this year. The story follows a cop (Ryan Reynolds) killed in the line of duty and is recruited by a team of undead police officers working for the Rest In Peace Department, and then tries to find the man who murdered him (Kevin Bacon). Jeff Bridges, Mary-Louise Parker, Marisa Miller, Mike O’Malley, James Hong, Robert Knepper and Tobias Segal round out the cast of the movie, which is directed by Red's Robert Schwentke. Now, R.I.P.D. is about to receive some additional filming. Bloody Disgusting has learned that Universal are sending Schwentke back behind the camera this weekend for some reshoots on the film. No word on where exactly the reshoots will take place, but stay tuned to Cbm for more updates. »
