Marion Cotillard was honored last night during AFI Fest in La. Her latest movie, Rust and Bone, premiered during the annual film festival, and before the screening, Marion was chosen for a special tribute. The Oscar-winner reflected on her career as an actress as she accepted the honor. She told the audience she almost quit the profession completely in her 20s because she was frustrated by the unsatisfying roles that were coming her way. Before she moved on, her agent convinced her to take one last meeting, which turned out to be with director Tim Burton. Marion was cast in his film Big Fish, and she said that the chance to work with a creative force like Tim renewed her passion for her craft.
