Director Shawn Levy is still hard at work on his latest feature, the Owen Wilson-Vince Vaughn comedy The Internship, but that doesn't mean he's not still making plans for the future. The filmmaker has been selected and is now in negotiations to helm This Is Where I Leave You, a new comedy based on the book by Jonathan Tropper. Variety says that Levy actually isn't the first person to have the gig. Originally Adam Shankman (Rock of Ages, Hairspray) was going to helm with Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Malin Akerman, Zac Efron and Leslie Mann all playing roles. When the project fell into development hell at Warner Bros. both Shankman and Bateman dropped out of the project, paving the way for Levy to head up the production.
