Video Interview: ‘Wreck-It-Ralph’ Director Rich Moore

This weekend Disney’s new tale of the secret world of arcade video game characters Wreck-It-Ralph opens in theaters. Rich Moore (TV’s The Simpsons, Futurama) directs a voice cast that includes John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer in a film that takes the viewer through the dynamic landscapes of games ranging from classic 8-bit to an explosive first person shooter.

We had the chance to sit down with Wreck-It-Ralph helmer Rich Moore recently to talk about Alan Tudyk’s performance as the wonderfully wacky King Candy (which was inspired by the iconic Ed Wynn and his portrayal of The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland) and how he worked with John C. Reilly to create the bad boy we love to love: Ralph.

Take a look at our video interview above and the trailer and synopsis for Wreck-It-Ralph below.

And stay tuned for our fleshed out print interview with Moore!
