Universal Pictures and producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious) have team up to bring Stephen King's "Gramma" short story to the big screen. Frances O'Connor (AI) will star, while Peter Cornwell (The Haunting in Connecticut) will direct from a script by Matt Greenberg (1408, Reign of Fire). The story, which is part of King's 1985 short story collection "Skeleton Key," follows two young boys who go with their single mother (O'Connor) to take care of their elderly, senile grandmother named Mercy, only to discover that she's a witch who made an evil pact with a dark force many years before. "Gramma" was previously turned into a "Twilight Zone" episode back in 1986. »
