Screenwriter Dan Fogelman ("Crazy, Stupid, Love," "Tangled") is set to make his directorial debut with his script "Imagine." Al Pacino, Jeremy Renner and Julianne Moore are talks to star. The familliar plot follows a rocker who finds a letter written to him by John Lennon that inspires him to change his life and find his unknown biological son. In turnaround from Warner Bros., the film will be financed by Inimitable Pictures through a fund from 5 Hour Energy founder Manoj Bhargava. Production will kick off Spring 2013. Mister Smith Entertainment will be shopping international rights to the film at the American Film Market, while Wme will handle the Us. - Charlize Theron and her Denver & Delilah banner have sold their series "The Clan," set in the Highlands of medieval Scotland, to ABC.
