'Homeland' gets third season renewal

Multiple Emmy Award winner Homeland starring Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, has been renewed for a third season. According to Variety, Showtime's ordered 12 more episodes for fall 2013 with production starting in spring. David Nevins, president of Showtime said that "The Emmy wins for 'Homeland' have certainly set the stage for a great second season. We can't wait for our viewers to experience what unfolds through the rest of season two." Homeland also stars Morena Baccarin, David Harewood, Diego Klattenhoff, Jackson Pace, Morgan Saylor, Mandy Patinkin, Jamey Sheridan, Navid Negahban and David Marciano.
