David Walliams is to host this year's 'Royal Variety Performance'. The 'Little Britain' star has taken over from comedian Peter Kay - who hosted last year's event in Salford, Greater Manchester - to front the ITV production, which will be staged at London's Royal Albert Hall with Britain's Queen Elizabeth watching on from the royal box. David excitedly took to social networking site twitter this morning (19.10.12) to confirm the news and admits it is the 'biggest gig' of his life.
