Cynthia Nixon has said that she doesn't think the Sex and the City series should continue. The Darren Star-created series - based on Candice Bushnell's book of the same name - originally ran as a serial drama on HBO between 1998 and 2004, and was followed up with two movies. Sex and the City 2 was met with a host of negative critical reviews, although it grossed over $$280 million ($$173.6 million) worldwide upon its release two years ago.
