Legendary TV host and actor Gary Collins died early this morning (Oct. 13) of natural causes at the Biloxi Regional Medical Center in Mississippi. He was 74.

Collins appeared on a number of hit shows in the 1970s like "Charlie's Angels," "The Love Boat" and "Fantasy Island," but he is best known for hosting the "Hour Magazine" talk show from 1980 to 1988 and the Miss America Pageant from 1985 to 1989.

Collins was married to former Miss America Mary Anne Mobley for 44 years before they separated last year. He has three children: daughter Mary Clancy Collins with Mobley, and Guy Collins and Melissa "Mimi" Collins with his first wife, Susan Peterson. »
