Hollywoodnews.com: Paramount Vantage has made it clear that Davis Guggenheim’s education-system-in-peril documentary “Waiting for ‘Superman’” is an important component of their end-of-year release schedule. Which is why we’re proud to report good news like the item we received this afternoon.

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt officially joined the WaitingforSuperman.com “Pledge Progress Meter” by committing to provide $100,000 worth of new children’s books to U.S. libraries in need. In order for the donation to go into effect, 60,000 people need to pledge to see the Guggenheim’s documentary when it opens.
