Terrence Malick appears to be making up for lost time. Having directed just five feature films - Badlands (1973), Days of Heaven (1978), The Thin Red Line (1998), The New World (2005) and The Tree of Life (2011) - across a thirty-eight year period, the acclaimed filmmaker has now commenced work on his third film in the space of two years, with Michael Fassbender (Prometheus) the latest name to join the cast of the currently-in-production 'Untitled Terrence Malick Project', having been snapped on set alongside Ryan Gosling (Drive)...

Formerly entitled Lawless, Malick's latest feature will see Fassbender and Gosling starring alongside Christian Bale (The Dark Knight Rises), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Cate Blanchett (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey).
