Sarà Len Wiseman, regista del remake di Atto di Forza, a dirigere La Mummia, nuovo film basato sul celebre franchise Universal...
Annunciato all'inizio di quest'anno, il nuovo film sulla Mummia basato sul celebre franchise della Universal ha ora un regista, dopo aver trovato uno sceneggiatore in Jon Spaihts (Prometheus).
La major ha infatti ingaggiato nientemeno che Len Wiseman, regista del franchise di Underworld e del recente remake di Atto di Forza intitolato Total Recall. Proprio questo remake si è rivelato un flop per la Sony: costato 125 milioni, ne ha incassati 175 in tutto il mondo (da noi arriverà tra poche settimane).
Wiseman lavorerà sullo script di Spaihts, e il film ha un'uscita fissata per il 2014. A produrre il nuovo film anche Alex Kurtzman e Roberto Orci, che hanno rivelato a Deadline che Spaihts sta scrivendo un film ambientato ai giorni nostri.
