Jon Cryer has spoken out about his Emmy win. Cryer was recognized for his Two and a Half Men role at Sunday night's (September 23) Primetime Emmys by taking home the 'Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series' award for the first time. This marks the first Emmy win for Cryer in the lead actors' category. He has previously been nominated in the corresponding supporting actors' category seven times, winning in 2009. Speaking to journalists in the press room after the ceremony, Cryer said: "I'm as shocked as you people, that's all I'm going to say. That's why my speech sucked!" Cryer also revealed that he thought his fellow CBS star Jim Parsons would win in the category for his role on The Big Bang Theory.
