The X Factor's Boot Camp weekend last night kicked off with 7.9 million viewers, 8.3m with +1 figures included. Saturday's premature exits and drunk acts were witnessed by 7.86m (34%) on ITV1 and 378k (1.8%) on +1, down over 700k week-on-week. Although The X Factor topped the night comfortably, the talent show's audience remains 2 million short of the equivalent instalment last year. The Xtra Factor followed the main show with 1.01m (5.1%) from 9.40pm. Sandwiched between The X Factor, Red or Black? continued with 3.39m (16.3%) at 7.30pm and 3.23m (15.7%) at 9.50pm. The Jonathan Ross Show could only muster 1.82m (12.2%) at the later time of 10.30pm (+1: 1%).
