Tra le tante critiche che sono state mosse nei confronti di Prometheus, il kolossal fantascientifico diretto da Ridley Scott, c’è anche quella di aver trattato la storia con molta superficialità, accennando quel tanto che basta sia le situazioni che i personaggi.
Eppure dando un’occhiata alle scene eliminate dal montaggio finale che sono state diffuse in questi giorni la pellicola conteneva in origine alcune scene che erano non solo in grado di sottolineare l’atmosfera del film, ma anche di offrire il giusto spessore ad alcune figure presenti nel film. La domanda a questo punto nasce spontanea: perché farsi del male da soli?
