Durante un'intervista rilasciata a Collider a margine della promozione di Anna Karenina, Jude Law ha risposto anche a una domanda collegata al franchise di Sherlock Holmes, che ha portato al successo insieme al suo partner cinematografico, Robert Downey Jr., e al regista Guy Ritchie.
Interrogato circa la possibilità di un terzo capitolo, Law risponde:
Non so ancora quando cominceranno le riprese. Se ne sta parlando e so che c'è già uno script in lavorazione, ma Robert è un ragazzo piuttosto impegnato e anche io ho il mio bel da fare. Ma vogliamo farne un altro. Come team ce la spassiamo davvero un sacco, siamo felici e crediamo che ci sia ancora parecchia energia nelle gambe del duo.
