La Curtis e Reiner sono stati invitati sul set per interpretare i genitori di Jess, mentre la Gugino avrà una storyline collegata a Schmidt. Un tris di guest scintillanti per New Girl, che accoglie sul suo set Jamie Lee Curtis, Rob Reiner e Carla Gugino.
