In the world of Treme, music is everything to everybody. It can heal a heart, provide a creative outlet that a typical 9-5 existence simply can't, and build a bridge between two people that might not have found any common ground. It fills the air of New Orleans and provides the backbone that has given the city the strength to stand up in such hard times; it has exorcised demons and given direction to characters that were left clueless about what to do and where to go following the wrath of Katrina.
In a sneak peek from the show's season three, Delmond leads a rousing Indian chant while in a crowded bar with Albert.
