New Girl fans will have at least one thing to be thankful for come Thanksgiving: They will finally get to meet the two people biologically responsible for the wacky wonder that is Jess (Zooey Deschanel). EW has learned that actress/author Jamie Lee Curtis and actor/director/producer/writer/etc. Rob Reiner will assume the roles of her divorced parents, Joan and Bob, who cross paths again in the loft at Thanksgiving. Jess is not happy that they are not together, and uses the holiday to try to romantically reunite them in what’s being described as a “parent trap. »
