“Ghiaccio bollente”. Così Alfred Hitchcok amava descrivere Grace Kelly per la sua bellezza senza tempo e la sua sensualità innata. Un’attrice che ha lasciato un segno indelebile e un vuoto incolmabile nella storia cinematografica di Hollywood. Era il 14 settembre 1982 quando l’automobile di Grace Kelly andò fuori strada in seguito a un malore dell’attrice, alla guida della sua Rover SD1.
Dopo aver esordito all’età di 22 anni con La quattordicesima ora (1951), Grace Kelly si fa conoscere con Mezzogiorno di fuoco (1952), al fianco di Gary Cooper. A seguire l’attrice ha inanellato una serie di successi che l’hanno consacrata nell’olimpo delle star di Hollywood. Indimenticabile il suo legame con Alfred Hitchcok, che l’ha vista recitare ne Il delitto perfetto (1954), La finestra sul cortile (1954) e Caccia al ladro (1955). Senza contare la sua partecipazione ne La ragazza di campagna (1954), che le è valso un Oscar per Migliore attrice protagonista. »
