In principio era Xerxes, che poi mutò in 300: Battle of Artemisia. Ora, il prequel/spin-off di 300 cambia nuovamente il titolo del film in 300: Rise of an Empire. Un titolo generico, ma di moda, sulla scia di recenti blockbuster come The Dark Knight Rises, Rise of the Guardians e Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Intanto Deadline ha annunciato che Legendary Pictures ha confermato la data di uscita del cinecomic basato sull’inedita graphic novel di Frank Miller e diretto da Noam Murro, prevista per il 2 agosto 2013. A figurare nel cast di questo atteso sequel sono Eva Green, Rodrigo Santoro, Sullivan Stapleton ed Andrew Tiernan.
