Jeffrey Shell, president of NBCUniversal International, will be nominated by President Obama to the post of chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors. NBCUniversal confirmed Wednesday that Shell would be named to head the independent federal agency that oversees U.S. government non-military international broadcasting.
