Mitch Hurwitz, the creator of Arrested Development, reveals that a script for the movie is well on the way…

Truthfully? We used to get quite excited about reporting news of a potential Arrested Development movie. And yet, while it's still good to hear of progress being made, there are few bones in our bodies that genuinely think that this one will ever hit the big screen. Along with the Anchorman and Zoolander sequels, it might just become one of those comedy movies that we wanted to see, but for an assortment of reasons we'll never get the chance.

The latest update, for instance, champions the fact that the script to Arrested Development: The Movie is "half-done". That's come courtesy of Mitch Hurwitz, the show's creator.
