Recently, producer Jon Landau confirmed that director James Cameron is only currently working on two sequels to his box office smash Avatar, and that a fourth film won't be filmed around the same time as the other sequels. That's not to say that a fourth Avatar movie won't happen, however. While promoting the new collector's edition of Titanic, Cameron was asked by MTV News for an update on the sequels, which he is currently writing. He then reveals that he has an idea for a fourth movie in the series, which would be a prequel exploring "the early expeditions of Pandora".
