Lorraine Kelly has said that she intends for the relaunched Daybreak to go "back to basics". Kelly will take over the ITV breakfast show with new co-host Aled Jones today (Monday, September 3) and explained to The Sun that the programme would not be subject to a complete overhaul. "We're going back to basics. It's all about giving people the main news and showbiz of the day," Kelly explained. "We're bringing some of the fun back, not fun resulting from silly stunts, it's [about] having a sense of humour. But you don't want to change everything."
