Yo, yo, yo, dog! Randy Jackson, one of “American Idol”‘s original three judges, will not be at the “American Idol” judges’ table in this new season, according to The Hollywood Reporter (via TMZ). Jackson has been a part of the show since its inception in 2002. He is the only remaining member of the original host/judge cast with Ryan Seacrest. But, Jackson will not be completely absent from the show in the new season- he will transition to a mentor role in season 12. According to The Hollywood Reporter, part of the reason Jackson returned to the show for its 12th season is because he co-manages new judge Mariah Carey.  [ Read More ] »
