Homeland exec Howard Gordon has teamed with writer Josh Friedman for a new NBC pilot. Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) will script the sci-fi thriller, according to Deadline. Set in a future world populated by both humans and robots, the drama follows a detective who must investigate the first robot-on-human murder and stumbles across an android rebellion. The project marks Gordon's return to NBC, where he recently exec produced the Jason Isaacs series Awake - his additional credits include Homeland, 24 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (more) »
