Dopo molte ipotesi sull'identità del villain che avrebbe dovuto interpretare in Star Trek 2, secondo capitolo del remake di Star Trek del 2009 di J. J. Abrams, finalmente Benedict Cumberbatch dichiara a Short List qualcosa in più sul suo personaggio, Khan.
"Dirò questo, è iconico ed eccitante. Sono stanco di negare che è Khan, perchè la gente ci tiene a saperlo - ha affermato l'attore - E' una bella parte ed è scritta bene. Mi divertono i combattimenti e le acrobazie, qui ce ne sono molte e siamo davvero nel territorio dei film d'azione." »
