Eddie Murphy deve moltissimo alla saga di Beverly Hills Cop, che negli anni’80 ha lanciato la sua carriera facendolo diventare una delle star più popolari e pagate in quegli anni.
Un trilogia diretta da grandi registi. Il primo da Martin Brest (Scent of Woman), il secondo da Tony Scott, tragicamente scomparso solo pochi giorni fa, e poi conclusa dal mitico John Landis.
Escluso l’arrivo di un quarto capitolo sul grande schermo, Eddie Murphy è almeno da un anno che ha svelato di voler riavviare il franchise sul piccolo schermo. Ecco arrivare alcuni aggiornamenti e pare che qualcosa si stia realmente muovendo. Shawn Ryan, creatore di The Shield, una delle serie più acclamate degli ultimi anni, pare sia intenzionato a produrre lo show insieme allo stesso attore e alla Sony Pictures Television.
Murphy tornerà a vestire i panni di Axel Foley, lo strampalato e simpaticissimo poliziotto protagonista della trilogia, ma »
