Il cinecomic The Avengers, diretto da Joss Whedon, porta sullo schermo i leggendari personaggi Marvel: Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), l’incredibile Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Occhio di Falco (Jeremy Renner) e la Vedova Nera (Scarlett Johansson).
L’aiuto dello squadrone di Supereroi viene richiesto da Nick Fury (Samuel Leroy Jackson) Capo della S.H.I.E.L.D., agenzia internazionale per il mantenimento della pace. Loki (Tom Hiddleston), nemico e fratellastro di Thor, sta infatti minacciando la Terra ed è deciso a conquistarla con il supporto di una razza aliena.
Azione, effetti speciali e una bellissima colonna sonora fanno da cornice all’avvincente pellicola.
