X Factor contestant Kye Sones reportedly used to front a band once signed by Sony Music. The chimney sweep appeared on the Saturday, August 25 edition of the ITV1 series, wowing the judges and audience with a mash-up of Rita Ora's 'Rip' and 'Save the World' by Swedish House Mafia. It has been revealed that Sones was previously part of electronic act Diagram of the Heart, who had toured with Scissor Sisters, according to The Sun. The group had recorded a song titled 'Dead Famous', which criticised shows like The X Factor.
