Uno dei film più attesi del Toronto Film Festival, L’orlo argenteo delle nuvole è il nuovo film drammatico scritto e diretto da David O. Russell, l’acclamato regista di The Fighter. La pellicola tratta dal romanzo di Matthew Quick racconta la storia di Pat (Bradley Cooper) e Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence).
Pat Peoples è un ex insegnante delle superiori che, dopo aver trascorso quattro anni in un ospedale psichiatrico, torna a vivere con i suoi genitori e cerca di rimettere insieme la sua vita e di riconciliarsi con la sua ex-moglie. L’uomo incontra Tiffany (Lawrence), una ragazza che soffre anche lei di problemi mentali, sua vicina di casa. I due cominciano così una strana relazione.
