Entertainment Weekly ha pubblicato le prime due immagini del film che sta girando Kimberly Peirce, Carrie, tratto dal famosissimo romanzo di Stephen King. Chiaramente si tratta del remake del film di Brian De Palma del 1976, uscito da noi con il titolo: Carrie - Lo sguardo di Satana e che vedeva nel ruolo di Carrie, Sissy Spacek, e in quello di sua madre, Margaret, Piper Laurie. Nella nuova versione troviamo la giovane Chloë Grace Moretz e Julianne Moore. Carrie White è una liceale che vive in una piccola città del Maine con una madre ossessionata dalla religione. Goffa, solitaria, vittima dei tiri mancini dei suoi coetanei, Carrie scopre gradualmente di avere poteri telecinetici, poteri che si erano già manifestati all'età di tre anni, dopo il primo choc della sua vita.
