Continuano ad arrivare notizie sui casting di Thor – The Dark World e questa volta il dio del tuono, interpretato da Chris Hemsworth, dovrà vedersela con diversi cattivi. Variety ha confermato che sarà l’attore Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, che i fan di Lost conoscono molto bene visto che ha interpretato il ruolo di Mr. Eko, a vestire i panni del malvagio Kurse-Algrim. Apparso per la prima volta su Thor 347, Algrim è uno dei più potenti elfi oscuri che riceve ordine da Malekith il Maledetto (interpretato da Christopher Eccleston) di uccidere Thor. Tradito da Malekith, Algrim cade preda di un’amnesia e si trasforma nell’ancor più potente Kurse.
Nel cast dell’atteso sequel ci saranno anche Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba, Zachary Levi, Stellan Skarsgard, Kat Dennings, Jaimie Alexander e Kat Dennings. Ovviamente non mancherà il malvagio fratellastro Loki (Hiddleston), che potrebbe giocare un ruolo cruciale nella lotta contro Thor.
