Joel Edgerton: 'Timothy Green isn't cool, but it is open-hearted'
Joel Edgerton has said that his new family film The Odd Life of Timothy Green is a nice contrast to "cool" summer blockbusters. Edgerton stars in the Disney film as one half of a couple whose wish for a child is granted when a young boy appears to grow from their garden. Speaking about the movie with OnTheRedCarpet, the actor said he is very proud of the heartwarming comedy. He explained: "There are so many movies out there that are 'cool' and 'cool' is often violence and car chase. It was really nice, actually, to be part of something that wasn't trying to be anything but open-hearted." Edgerton also revealed that he feels The Odd Life of Timothy Green actually "fits in" well with his more gritty work in films like Warrior (more)
