Mariah Carey stepped out of her trailer yesterday on the New Orleans set of The Butler joining co-stars Oprah Winfrey and Lenny Kravitz. The Lee Daniels-directed film has drawn a wide range of major stars including Cuba Gooding Jr., John Cusack, Robin Williams, and James Marsden as well. Lenny's been sharing personal snaps from Louisiana including a candid of Oprah and Cuba sharing a scene. It appears Daniels called upon friends and former colleagues to contribute to the film; in fact, Mariah was one of the stars of his 2009 best picture nominee, Precious. In addition to starting a new big-screen project, Mariah also shared a sneak peek at her forthcoming music video "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" last night on Bet's 106 & Park. Mariah's also prepping to embark on her first season of American Idol. Rumors are swirling that Nicki Minaj may join her behind the judging table in 2013 when the show returns for its twelfth season. »
