Inoltre Drew McWeeny ha letto la sceneggiatura del film...Dal suo account di Twitter, il regista James Mangold sta fornendo numerosi dettagli e curiosità riguardo la lavorazione di The Wolverine. Il regista ha cosi confermato che gli attori giapponesi nel film parleranno (giustamente) giapponese e non inglese; il regista ha poi rivelato la seguente informazione: "Otterrete qualche sneak peek nei prossimi giorni. Presto. E immagini dal Giappone. Siamo in partenza per Tokyo tra due settimane". Intanto Drew McWeeny di HitFix ha letto la sceneggiatura del film e dal suo Twitter ha lasciato intendere che sia ottima: "Forse non avrò amato la sceneggiatura di Robocop del tutto, ma dopo aver letto la prima metà, posso rivelarvi che sono a bordo per The Wolverine." »
