Sono arrivate online delle nuove immagini di Ada Wong (Li Bingbing), Carlos (Oded Fehr), Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) e Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory) alcuni dei co-protagonisti del film di Paul W.S. Anderson, Resident Evil: Retribution.
La pellicola riprende gli eventi di Resident Evil: Afterlife, dove Jill, un ex membro della polizia, alleatosi con Alice (Milla Jovovich) nella guerra contro la Umbrella Corporation, è caduta sotto il controllo dell’azienda. Alla fine del film precedente Jill stava ordinando l’eliminazione degli ultimi sopravvissuti, tra cui Alice.
Un’altra faccia conosciuta è rappresentata da Carlos, protagonista di Resident Evil: Apocalypse ed Extinction, un membro delle forze specili d’assalto dell’Umbrella che interpreterà un doppio ruolo.
Infine Rain Ocampo, un altro membro delle squadre d’assalto speciali dell’Umbrella, infettatasi con virus-t durante gli eventi di Resident Evil, si era trasformata in zombie e poi era stata uccisa.
