Après la fantastique bande-annonce découverte il y a quelques semaines, voici aujourd'hui un extrait du film de Paul thomas Anderson, The Master, qui sera distribué dès demain aux Etats-Unis, et au sujet duquel l'acteur Philip Seymour Hoffman a tenu à dire qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'un film sur la scientologie.
Lors des différentes annonces autour de ce projet, nous étions déjà très enthousiastes, et après avoir vu la bande-annonce du film, nous avions bien du mal à exprimer notre satisfaction aux vues d'images et de performance qui promettent un très très grand film. Aujourd'hui nous découvrons un extrait et il confirme encore un peu plus tout le bien que l'on pense de ce projet The Master. Paul Thomas Anderson traite ici des églises parallèles. Philip Seymour Hoffman campe en effet Lancaster Dodd, un leader charismatique qui créé, dans les années 50, une nouvelle religion. De son côté, Joaquin Phoenix incarne Freddie Sutton, »
