Tiff gets bigger with more Galas, Special Presentations & World Premieres

The lineup for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (Tiff) has expanded to include an additional 3 Gala presentations, 18 Special presentations, and 8 World Premieres from countries such as the UK, Denmark, Japan, Turkey, USA, and Portugal. The Closing Night Film will be Song for Marion helmed by Paul Andrew Williams (London to Brighton) which stars Gemma Arterton (Tamara Drewe) as a choir director who brings the songbird out of a grumpy pensioner portrayed by Terence Stamp (The Limey). The remaining two Gala movies are Emperor directed by Peter Webber (Girl with a Pearl Earring) and features Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men) as General Douglas MacArthur in the post-wwii epic about the American occupation of Japan and What Maisie Knew, brought to the big screen by collaborators Scott McGehee and David Siegel as well as Joanna Vanderham, Julianne Moore (Children of Men), and Steve Coogan (Tropic Thunder) who perform in
