La vita che si trasforma in un’allucinazione costante piena di paura e mistero. Questo quello che accade in The Letter (film noto fino a qualche tempo fa come The Stare), un piccolo film a basso budget con protagonisti due grandi attori, ossia Winona Ryder e James Franco rispettivamente nei panni di una regista teatrale in crisi creativa e di un attore molto misterioso e inquietante… Il film è un thriller psicologico che si basa sul rapporto malato e morboso tra i due artisti: dopo il loro incontro il personaggio di Winona Ryder inizia ad avere delle allucinazione e ad essere come tormentata, quasi posseduta, dal fantasma del suo nuovo attore.

Il film vede nel cast anche Josh Hamilton, Marin Ireland e Katherine Waterston mentre alla regia troviamo Jay Anania. Negli States la pellicola uscirà direttamente nel mercato VOD il prossimo 25 settembre. »
